Welcome to fifth grade! You made it. I am sure we are going to have a wonderful learning experience together. Get ready to work hard, and learn a lot!
This year you will need 5 "marble" notebooks, 5 two pocket folders, lots and lots of loose leaf paper, many pencils and erasable pens.
If you could bring in a box of tissues and a roll of papertowels, it would help get the class of to a good start.
Some warnings! Leave your pencil sharpeners, binders, staplers, protractors and compasses at home. They fall out of the desks, and you don't need them. Bring sharpened pencils with you to school every day.
